About me
Thank you for visiting Sea Change.
Hello, I'm Emma-Jayne Sherry. Whether you're exploring how we might work together or simply curious about the story behind the business, I'm delighted you're here.

My Story
Helping organisations transform, grow and bring their strategies to life through effective communication.
Throughout my career, I've helped organisations communicate through significant periods of growth, transformation and change. From business integrations and cultural transformation to leadership communications and employee engagement, I've seen first-hand the challenges organisations face when navigating uncertainty.
.
Over more than twenty years, one thing has become clear to me: people, and the connections between them, are what ultimately drive business success. People need to understand where their organisation is heading, why it matters and the part they play in making it happen.
During periods of change, those connections become even more important. Clear, consistent communication helps people make sense of complexity, stay connected to each other and maintain a shared understanding of what is happening and why.
The organisations that do this well create clarity around their priorities, trust in their leaders and confidence in what comes next.
That belief is at the heart of Sea Change. I help organisations use strategic communication to create understanding, strengthen connection and move people and business forward.
My Experience
My career has included senior leadership roles with Planet, Virgin Atlantic, CBRE and Johnson Controls, where I have led communications through complex change, business transformation, cultural change, leadership transitions and large-scale integrations.
I've worked across global organisations, private equity-backed businesses, consultancies and not-for-profits, advising senior leaders and working with teams across multiple countries and cultures.
That breadth of experience means I understand both the strategic challenge facing leaders and the practical realities of communicating change across complex organisations.
Some of the companies I've worked with...

My role is to help organisations make sense of complexity, create alignment and build confidence in the future. Drawing on experience across communications, leadership, culture and engagement, I help leaders define the narrative, identify the communication challenges that matter most and develop practical strategies that support their objectives.
Every organisation is different. Sometimes that means providing strategic counsel to leaders and in-house teams. Sometimes it means supporting major transformation programmes or strategic events. And where additional expertise is needed, I can bring together trusted partners, technology and AI-enabled solutions to deliver the right outcome.
Whatever the challenge, I bring an external perspective, straight-talking advice and a collaborative approach, working alongside leaders and their teams to turn strategy into understanding and action.
Beyond Work
I live with my husband and our two daughters in a converted barn near Stamford, Lincolnshire, and regularly work with clients across the UK.
Outside work, you'll usually find me taxiing the girls to one of their many activities, planning our next family adventure or searching out a great restaurant to enjoy with family and friends. I love travelling, discovering new places, good food, good wine and making time for the people who matter most.
Some of my favourite moments are the simplest: long walks, holidays with family and friends, laughter around the dinner table and those shared experiences that become lasting memories.
Those experiences have shaped how I think about life as much as work. The moments people remember are rarely the plans or presentations. They're the conversations, relationships and shared experiences that bring people together, build trust and create a sense of belonging.
